Pool Volleyball: (verb) A wonderful activity involving a swimming pool, water and friends.
Not to be confused with an Olympic sport.
Rule #1
House Rules. If you own the pool you are allowed to make the rules as you go.
Rule #2
Each team must change sides after each game.
Rule #3
If the ball hits the edge of the pool and bounces back towards the pool, it can still be considered in play. Refer to rule #1.
Rule #4
If you are under the age of 10 and are unable to serve the ball over the net on the first try, you are allowed a second serve with no penalty.
Rule #5
If you are unable to return a serve because you were attending your pool side refreshment then the ball must be re-served with no penalty. Keep your priorities in perspective.
Rule #6
The first team to reach the score of 16 wins the game.
Rule #7
Don’t forget about the young children in the water. Get everyone involved.
Never leave your children un-attended!
